Kangda FoodChina Kangda Food, a diversified food processing group based on the mainland, was also listed on the mainboard by the way of introduction, which means the company went public without issuing new shares, raising funds and without offering price.

Irresistible forces can drive us towards or away from our goals. With optimal strategies, irresistible forces always help.

But to gain that perspective, you need to be able to anticipate changes in the forces better than anyone else.

Am I Gaining?

Determining that a trend has changed is clearly much less helpful than successfully anticipating that change with a significant lead time. In a sense, the former only tells you whether your anticipation has been accurate or not.

Like the squirrel racing on the wheel in its cage, you may be running hard but not making much progress.

Your look at what other firms and organizations are doing to understand irresistible forces will also need to include an investigation of how these other groups are using measurements to anticipate changes in irresistible forces.

You should ask these questions:

-Which ones are most often accurate in locating continuing shifts in the irresistible force?

-Which ones are best at the earliest identification of a shift?

-Which possible shifts in direction are all of these measures poor at identifying?

-Which measures would be better at locating the shifts that currently aren’t being well identified?

To that type of investigation, you now need to add a consideration of causes and effects.

If you have found accurate measurements for describing changes in directions, surely there are causes of the changes that themselves can be measured.

The Chicken, or the Egg, or the DNA, or the Intent, or the Impulse?

Our search for the future best practice has to take us very far back toward initial impetuses in order to find the primary causes. Let’s look at an example.

Imagine that you are a brokerage firm and you’re planning for future staffing needs.

You need to know how the securities markets will be performing in the future.

When stock prices are rising, you can make money having lots of capacity to handle trading orders.

When stock prices are falling, you need to cut resources, including staffing.

Anticipating the need to shift is very valuable because it takes time and lots of money to add systems capabilities and to recruit, hire, and train new employees.

Both starting and stopping large activities in this area requires some advance notice for the best results.

If anyone could always anticipate the general direction of the stock market, that ability would have far more valuable applications, of course, than just adjusting the computer systems expansion and the hiring and training cycles in brokerage firms.

That’s a good example of why studying more about these irresistible forces can be valuable: You may develop insights that are good enough to allow you to build other competitive benefits.

For example, you might become effective enough at understanding the general trend of the stock market to be able to provide better sorts of advice to your brokerage customers so that they would make more money, spend more of that money with you, and stay with you longer.

When you ask lots of people how they anticipate the direction of the stock market, you will hear answers involving measures such as corporate earnings, interest rates, investor sentiment, flow of investment funds, the value of the dollar versus other currencies, and the level of the market compared to various measures.

Here is where the fun begins: In addition to determining which of these measures is better for anticipating results, you need to develop a sense of what causes what.

Let’s take investor sentiment. Many people find that investor sentiment tends to follow the market. If you’ve been enjoying steady stock-price gains, you are likely to continue to believe that steady gains will occur in the future.

After stock prices drop for a long time, you are likely to believe that recovery is far off.

Now this historically-dependent sentiment clearly has a real effect on the future of the market because it determines how much new money some investors put into the market.

If we work backward from here, we want to know what caused the market to rise or fall in the past that was independent of investor sentiment, because investor sentiment is a lagging indicator.

We know that investor sentiment is important though because it will help us sustain the move once it has begun.

Now, consider a new measurement you may not have considered before: the effectiveness of top managements in running their companies to improve stock-price growth, independent of economic and financial market conditions.

Even in the worst markets, some stocks will rise because managements are doing such a superb job of pleasing investors. Even in the best markets, other stocks will fall because managements are unintentionally annoying investors.

Our brokerage firm could develop some great insights into the future trend of specific stocks from looking at a measurement like top management effectiveness in improving stock-price growth.

In fact, the measurement could have other profound benefits like helping the firm to know which stocks to recommend.

The measurement could also be proprietary to the brokerage company if no one else attempted to measure this factor, and the firm used its own analysts to gather proprietary data for the measurement.

In this search for better and earlier anticipation, you can always look for a still earlier cause.

In the case of the measurement of management effectiveness in stock price improvement, the cause might be the source and quality of the education that some managements received about how to improve stock prices that others did not.

Your brokerage firm could then monitor such educational efforts in companies.

This backward-looking search for causes should and can continue until useful insights are no longer available.

In the brokerage example, the decision to pursue the education those managements receive could be caused by articles and advertising in leading business publications describing the benefits of this education.

Those articles and advertising are in turn caused by the intent of editors (who plan their features for the issue) and education providers (who buy the advertising).

Further research might even uncover causes of these peoples’ intentions, such as missing their revenue targets and wanting to improve sales.

The future best practice in anticipating changes in irresistible forces is to use more data sources and to go backward into more levels of prior causes of causes to the irresistible force change.

Employing that process should help you create many more breakthrough solutions.

Are you about to pay thousands of US Dollars to attend an option trading seminar this weekend?

Whether or not you have decided to join that weekend seminar, I hope I can help you make a more intelligent decision here.

A Grim Experience At An Option Trading Seminar

I had a friend who joined a weekend, 2 days, option trading seminar (a very well-known one by the way), promising that every participant will walk away with enough knowledge to profit at any market condition and be on their way to their first million just by option trading. He paid USD$3000 for the 2 days seminar and walked away feeling all hyped up but totally confused as to how exactly to start option trading. He was then told to sign up for an advanced course for another USD$5000 for 4 days. That 4 days seminar taught him little more than option trading basics and how to open a trading account but still completely no idea whatsoever as to how to read the market and pick stocks on which to trade options in the first place. He was then asked to buy a USD$6000 laptop containing a magical software that will tell him exactly what to trade daily. That software turned out about a hundred opportunities a day… again, he is totally confused.

After paying a grand total of USD$11,000, my friend had completely no idea how to start trading options consistently and you guessed it, he ran into another USD$11,000.00 in credit card debt which he is still paying 24% per annum of interest on. (Not to mention losing another USD$5000.00 on losing trades produced by that “magical software”)

The Truth About Most Option Trading Seminars

The truth about option trading seminars these days are that they are conducted by people who claimed to have made millions from option trading but are really making millions by conducting seminars like that.

Here’s a math from an internationally acclaimed option trading “guru” who charges USD$2500.00 for her 4 days seminars:

Cost Per Head : USD$2500.00
Average Number of Participants : 120
Average Number of Seminars Per Month : 2
Average Gross Takings Per Month : USD$600,000.00
Average Gross Takings Per Year : USD$7.2 MILLION!
See how these option trading “gurus” are really making their millions?

What Option Trading Seminars Really Teach

Sadly, most option trading seminars have nothing magical nor proprietary to teach. Most of these option trading seminars simply teach people what option trading can do and how to do some of the common option trading strategies which anyone can learn completely for FREE on option trading sites like http://www.OptionTradingpedia.com .

These fake option trading “gurus” then use a lot of hype and motivational techniques to make all participants think that they have indeed stumbled upon a gold mine.

What Option Trading Seminars Are Not Teaching You

Option Trading, like all kinds of trading activities requires foremost for the trader to be able to pick the right stocks that behave within the predetermined limits of the strategy in the first place. You will lose money if you do a bullish option strategy on a stock that stumbles eventually and you will lose money if you do a neutral strategy on a stock that suddenly surges. The ability to pick the right stocks is the real key to any kind of trading, including option trading and that is exactly what you will not learn in most of these option trading seminars. This means that most of these option trading seminars really have nothing proprietary to teach anyone at all!

To make up for the gap, these fake option trading “gurus” make participants sign up for stock picking programs or buy expensive software which eventually still led to nowhere. Being able to pick the right stock for option trading is an extremely tricky task which the best in the industry are still trying hard to do consistently!

Everyone who learnt option trading must then begin the long and arduous journey of looking for a reliable way of picking stocks for option trading consistently. That is a long and wide journey which includes learning about fundamental and technical analysis, different scopes and methods of trading options and things like that… things that really do have proprietary knowledge and which is ok to pay a fair price for.

I am sad to see so many people who loves to learn about option trading fall prey to these option trading seminars and to pay thousands to learn things that can be learnt for free. That is why I started the http://www.OptionTradingpedia.com where I provide all the information and knowledge all beginners need to know what option trading is and how to trade options and I sincerely hope that the public can help me to help yourselves by spreading the good news around.

R. N. Elliott developed his wave theory in 1934. It is a method for explaining stock market movements.

Elliott Wave Technical Analysis rules and guidelines applied to the charts, and will help you trade and invest successfully through a better understanding of the market to maximize opportunity and minimize risk.

Under the Elliott Wave Principle, every market decision is both produced by meaningful information and produces meaningful information. Each transaction, at once affects to the market and, by communicating transactional data to investors, causes other’s behavior.

According to the Elliott Wave Theory, stock prices tend to move in a predetermined number of waves. Elliott believed the market moved in five distinct waves on the upside (Motive or Impulse Wave) and three distinct on the downside (Corrective Wave).

Motive wave structure is denoted by numbers (1-2-3-4-5) and, corrective wave structure is denoted by letters (a-b-c).

Market cycles are composed of Motive Wave and Corrective Wave, So one complete cycle consists of eight waves.

Elliott Wave degrees

An important feature of Elliott Wave Theory is that they are fractal in nature. ‘Fractal’ means market structure is built from similar patterns on larger or smaller scales. Therefore, we can count the wave on a long-term yearly market chart as well as short-term hourly market chart

Elliott Wave theory categorizes waves by relative size, or degree. Elliott discerned nine degrees of waves, and chose the names listed below to label these degrees, from largest to smallest:

1.Grand Supercycle

2.Supercycle

3.Cycle

4.Primary

5.Intermediate

6.Minor

7.Minute

8.Minuette

9.Sub-Minuette

The major waves determine the major trend of the market, and minor waves determine minor trends.

As the years roll by, it’s a fact that more and more people are using credit to help them to enjoy the finer things in life today that it would otherwise take years to save for. In our parents and certainly in our grandparent’s day, this would be quite rare, but for today’s generation, credit is simply part of everyday life and this is something that is unlikely to change much in the future.

Whether you’re a homeowner or a tenant, getting a loan is often seen by many as a stressful experience; but it needn’t be. As the numbers of people wanting to borrow money has increased, so has the number of lenders grown to cater for the new emerging market. With new lenders have come simpler and more flexible ways to apply for finance, together with a rich and diverse range of options to enable you to borrow the money you need.

Tenants in particular, have had a difficult time in borrowing money to finance their needs and wants, even with the growing band of lenders in the market looking for their business. Companies looking to lend money in this sector are often struggling to balance the need to lend their capital so that they can make their profits with the risks they face in potential losses incurred from tenants defaulting on their loans. Since the tenant doesn’t own their own property, they can’t secure or guarantee their loan against their home. This means that in the event of a default, the lender cannot recoup their money from the sale of the property on which the tenant loan was secured.

Nevertheless, the numbers of tenant loans completed in recent years has increased enormously. This could also be due in part at least to the rapid explosion of the buy to let market. Investors looking to make a quick and substantial profit have purchased a significant proportion of the available housing stock which has meant that through the action of supply and demand, house prices have soared and this in turn has left more and more people behind and out of the market altogether. These people have now been forced to rent and are therefore part of the growing numbers of tenants in the population. But these tenants, still need money. They still want things like:-

- new cars, motorbikes or caravans,

- holidays,

- weddings, or even to

- consolidate some or all of the credit they already have into a more manageable monthly repayment

Well? Why shouldn’t they? A tenant’s money is as good as anyone else’s and if they can afford the repayments and stick with the programme, they’re just as entitled to a tenant loan as a homeowner is entitled to a secured loan.

It’s a comparatively simple matter to apply however. Many tenants decide to apply right from home – via the internet. There are many online finance brokers providing tenant loans. Find one that you like and that offers a simple enquiry form. Fill in your details and wait for the broker to call and help you with your application. You could have a decision in principle in minutes and all of the necessary paperwork on its way to you in the post on the same day. Some of it may already be pre-completed for you! It’s that simple.

You could have the money in a couple of weeks or even days in some cases. Certainly the world of tenant loans has become easier all around in recent years. So don’t worry. If you want to enjoy some of the nicer things today, enquire about a loan and see how you get on. You may be surprised by what you find.

What started off in the U.S has now spread throughout the different economies, as one economy after another tumble due to tightening credit conditions. Even though when speaking about the recent housing slump, most people associate it with the U.S and the subprime crisis, many are unaware of a similar situation that has also occurred in the U.K. Similar to the low rate environment in the U.S, central bankers and politicians in Britain kept their interest rates artificially low, allowing opportunists to take advantage of it, borrowing huge amounts- much larger than the value of their real invested assets. From private equity firms to simple investors, money was scattered within a housing market as those investors that took advantage of the credit conditions, thought that in years to come the sector would yield back sufficient profits due to rising prices. As the word spread, additional investors "jumped on the train" as landlords who had bought houses with the intention of letting them out (BTL) saw their investments gain enormously in value. From 1995, a trend of housing investments formed across the country, as people with different credit ratings were able to receive loans to take part in this investing “opportunity”. The housing market quickly became an extremely popular investment route as savers would rather put their money in rising assets then save it in traditional saving plans.
Over the years, up until 2007, a low rate environment quickly changed due to rapid growth, as central banks across the globe used their primary tool (interest rates) to control the expanding economy. In addition, during that time house prices were rising fast, yielding investors enormous returns on their initial investment. Despite the optimistic situation not all was as it seemed; as rent in certain regions across the country failed to cover off loan payments, landlords were often forced to re-mortgage their investments at higher rates. In addition, new homeowners were struggling to enter the market due to high prices and unaffordable mortgage conditions. A basic economic principle shows us that when supply becomes too high and demand becomes too low – prices drop.
Once rumors of decreasing prices and expectations of an upcoming economic slowdown begin to spread, it doesn’t take long for people to realize that their best option is to cash in on recent profits. Selling pressure will often turn into a selling frenzy as holders search for buyers that have often disappeared far into the distance, waiting to purchase at much lower prices. High interest rates and decreasing house prices normally lead to only one outcome – catastrophe.

Soon after, a housing slump will often lead to a credit market crash as homeowners fail to repay their mortgages, while the values of their homes drop in price.
Taking a glance at the chart below one can see the recent drop in house prices towards the middle of 2007.

To date the credit crunch has hit the housing sector hard as mortgage deals once known to be easy have flip-sided, making it virtually impossible for new home owners to receive a mortgage. This chain reaction has added to the problems as central banks are now forced to deal with slow economic growth. The Bank of England slashed yet again its key lending rate last week by a full percentage, bringing it down to a rate last seen only 70 years ago. Unemployment in the U.K has risen dramatically as the economy has contracted, forcing employers to cut back on their labor force. Among all the European economies the U.K has dropped the most, dragging its currency and stock market down by enormous proportions. The once high valued Pound Dollar pair is now trading at levels last seen during 2001 and 1993.

Technical view
Over the last couple of months Pound pairs have dropped tremendously, now coming up to monthly support. In addition, from the beginning of this economic slowdown, we have witnessed a strong correlation between the U.S market, the FTSE and the Pound. Current levels in global stock markets are pointing towards temporary stability, especially after Friday’s shocking U.S Unemployment data, which failed to bring down the markets. The U.S market closed the session up by over 3%.
Even though further sectors could push the panic button, once expectations fully price in the recent occurrences we could see yet again a bullish correlation between the three.
Up until then, the major question is whether support at current levels will manage to hold?

So, you have decided to start a successful legitimate online home based business. Congratulations and welcome to the fast-paced world of entrepreneurship! While there is a lot to learn, your effort will be worth it. The thrill of growing your legitimate online home based business, the freedom and flexibility to set your own hours, and the possibilities of ever-increasing financial rewards are all wonderful reasons to start your successful legitimate online home based business.

Now that you have decided to start your successful legitimate online home based business, you might be wondering “How can I get it off to the strongest possible start?” These 7 steps will help you:

Step 1. Set up a separate working space in your home. It does not matter if this is a small bedroom, one part of the garage, or a corner of the living room. The important thing is to have some space that you can designate as your working area. This will give you the space and room you need to craft your dream.

Step 2. Stock your working space with materials. This sounds basic, perhaps, but one underlying element of success is that you have easy access to the tools, materials, and other resources you need. Gathering everything close by also keeps you from wasting time searching for it, so this step can be considered a time management strategy, too.

Step 3. Speaking of time management, your third step is to define the parameters of your successful legitimate online home based business. What days and hours will you work? When will you market? When will you provide services or products to clients? How will you keep all of this straight?

Step 4. Balance action with planning. One of the most common pitfalls to successful legitimate online home based business is getting too caught up in action without enough planning. Stated another way, this means that you confuse “being busy” with “working on important projects.” The best approach is to plan your next couple of goals and then work backwards to create step by step action plans to reach them. Once you have the plan, then it is time to take the action.

Step 5. Network like crazy. One of the fastest ways to grow any successful legitimate online home based business is to make connections with other people. Be sure to share your passion and enthusiasm with others at every opportunity. Let people know who you are and what you offer. Remember, people can not buy if they do not know you are selling.

Step 6. Present a professional image. If you want to be treated professionally, present a professional image. Set up a separate bank account for your successful legitimate online home based business. Install a separate phone and fax line. Create professional marketing materials. Be courteous and pleasant in all your customer facing interactions. Basically, be someone people want to do successful legitimate online home based business with.

Step 7. Automate your successful legitimate online home based business as much as possible. Granted, you are just one person (right now) and might have a lot of extra time to take care of all the details. This might work for now, but will not work into the future as you get busier and busier. It is best to set up automatic systems and processes right from the start to free up your time to concentrate on the most profitable activities.

These 7 steps will get your successful legitimate online home based business started(and growing) in the right direction.
